There are multiple artists with the name Belegost:

1.Belegost is a vegan black metal band based in Gaithersburg, Maryland. They formed in 2005, recorded sporadically over the next five years, then went on hiatus. As of 2011, they are active again with a full line-up. With the addition of two new members, they are no longer fully a straight edge band. Their music can be heard here:

2. BELEGOST is also a post rock band from the Unites States that formed in 2003 and disbanded back in 2006. The band consisted of Charlie Cottone (guitar, drums), Sal Giorgi (bass, guitar, noises), Allen Hitchens (guitar), Joshua Alvarez (bass) and JD Foster (drums, guitar). In their time of existence BELEGOST only wrote 4 songs of which only 3 were recorded. In 2005 the band released a self - titled EP which contained 2 of the 3 recorded songs. The last song that was recorded appeared on a split EP with the band The Sea, Like Lead released in 2006. Soon afterward bass player Joshua Alvarez departs of the band. Upon his departure Sal Giorgi took over bass duties but it was short lived as the band parted ways after Giorgi left the band.
