Finnish Before The Dawn saw daylight in 1999 as a solo project by Tuomas Saukkonen. The first line-up was gathered so that the band would be able to perform live. With many changes inside the band, they entered the studio to record an MCD called Gehenna. After two albums and numerous changes in the line-up, Tuomas gathered an entirely new line-up in 2005.

Just saw them live as support for Amorphis in Cracow. Wow, those guys were really great! I especially loved the sound of clean guitars - Kinda' noir-rockish.. I wish they'd use it on their new album instead of accoustics. And the wokals sound really great. Couldn't find a better support for Amorphis.
