The name Before Their Eyes is taken from Romans 3:18 of the New Testament (“There is no fear of God before their eyes”). Their first tour ever was with The Devil Wears Prada & Drop Dead Gorgeous on the Rise Records tour. The band also toured across the USA on the Artery Foundation Across The Nation tour with A Skylit Drive and Four Letter Lie, also playing alongside other bands including Memphis May Fire, Blinded Black, Dance Gavin Dance, Oh, Sleeper, The Hottness and Alesana. They appeared on the Black on Black Tour with Escape the Fate, Blessthefall, LoveHateHero, and Dance Gavin Dance. The band played the Scream The Prayer Tour this year with Sleeping Giant, Here I Come Falling, Agraceful, Akissforjersey, Blessed by a Broken Heart and Impending Doom.They headlined their first tour, playing the One Moment Managment Tour with Eyes Set to Kill, LoveHateHero, Oceana, I See Stars, and Ice Nine Kills.
They are going to be touring March 22, 2009 - May 3, 2009 with Silverstein, Norma Jean, and Bless The Fall.
Their second album, The Dawn of My Death, was released October 28, 2008. The album reached #10 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.
