I wouldn't say I was that similar to them - I mean, I'm Scottish and I'm doing some acoustic pieces at the moment leaning more towards the folk side of things. It really is a waste of a good band name though. I would hate it to go into the wrong hands. The reason I considered it as a moniker was because I crashed at a friends and in the morning he called me bedhead, due to my hair, and I realised it was amazing.

I'm a dl man myself, but when it came to their EPs I was more than happy to drop some coin for them on iTunes. I suggest you do the same, or maybe get highlights 'The Dark Ages' and 'Disorder'. So since I bought them, my files are protected anyway. I've been listening to Bedheaded a lot lately and gotta say, WhatFunLifeWas isn't a comfortable win anymore. So great.
