I only really love this and the first track off "Modern Guilt". Every thing between is solid 3 Stars material though.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiyoko_Matsumoto This is the girl he references in the song. "And I heard of that Japanese girl who jumped into the volcano. Was she trying to make it back, back into the womb of the world?"

At some point it sounded like Marilyn Manson. [2] I thought I was the only one crazy enough to hear some MM here.

You know, upon further examination I'd say this is among my favorite Beck songs. I can just relate to the lyrics and composition so much. Makes me think Beck is growing tired of Scientology but is in a tough spot being his family believes as well and how crazy Scientology can be about people leaving or speaking out against L. Ron Hubbard's work of fiction turned holy book.

Great song. Volcano? Is that a strange scientology reference?
