Biography

BeBe Winans (born Benjamin Winans, 17 September 1962, in Detroit, Michigan) is a Grammy Award Wining gospel and R&B singer.He is a member of the noted Winans family, many members of which are also gospel artists.

He released several albums, first with his sister CeCe Winans, and later as a solo artist. He currently hosts his own nationally syndicated radio program, The BeBe Winans Radio Show. In 1989, BeBe won His First Grammy for Best Soul Gospel Performance, Male for his contribution to “Abundant Life”, a track on his brother Ronald’s Family & Friends Choir

    I'm sort of a cross between a Jew and a Christian (80/20): I TOTALLY follow Christ as he was an example and a Jew. My attempt is to be like him as a Jew and keep the Sabbath He kept but Take His name as His disciple like Christians do. As for the Winans, I love 'em all (with a special "crush" on CeCe :-))

    I'm not a Christian, I am white and Jewish, but I love BeBe and CeCe, Angie, Debbie and the whole Winans family. What talent, I used to do Urban radio, and used to play this overnight. I would always turn the monitors up, to hear these incredible voices.
