A definition that is both concise and true in regards to DJ Beamish for no other reason than this guy has got to be one of the jolliest men in music. His energy, passion and enthusiasm is coupled with superior DJ skills and the most powerful, friendly presence you are likely to find.

When Beamish is behind the decks you really can see just how passionate he is about music. He plays so exclusively for the crowd. He watches them, he rocks them, he grabs them by the soul and takes them deeper and higher until they are completely lost in his music. His sound is completely his own- it is music that crosses the entire spectrum of music, diving into unknown territory and making it so easily accessible. Certainly, Beamish is about people, this is what makes this Herculean DJ so authentic. His presence and quality sets account for sell-out nights round the world in venues as exotic as Tokyo and Havana.

As a producer Beamish is forward thinking and very ahead of the time. His music is fresh and accessible till the last beat fades away. Music that you can really get into and really get lost in. Along with having his own label Mesh Records with John Bairdman, Beamish also collaborates with other labels and artists including Paul Harding and Oberon. Oberon in particular worked with Beamish at the successful Escape From Samsara nights and on the renowned double album, ‘Duel’ .
