Every time I listen through Gloss Drop, I get stuck replaying this song and can't move on to the rest of the album.

Anyone else think this sounds like it came out of a SNES game? :D

I have nothing against changing the sound and also I don't think that attitude shown on "Gloss Drop" is bad in general, but in my opinion Battles got lost in it. It's not their story.

@ _Snowden: Really? I like the album a lot and think it's a perfect progress from Mirrored, but I understand you in a way, it's not really much like their older stuff, but for me that's just the progress they make with each album, especially Ian Williams. I mean: Look the step from 'American Don' to the 'Ep' series, and so on. It's just that he is so damn innovative, that the sound changes from time to time :-)

What is more, I don't like new album at all and that makes me very sad. Only "Wall Street", "My Machines" and "White Electric" are decent tracks, maybe first half of "Africastle". It's all about Braxton I think.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. Perfect transition from Futura to Wall Street. The first half of the album is just perfect.
