Battle of Disarm is an anarchist band from Isigawa, Japan. They originally formed over rising concerns on the cruel treatment of animals, & high usage of vivisection by major corporations. Since they first formed in 1989, they have refused to release any material on compact disk, in protest of the technological advances that has swept across Japan, which they say has lead to worldwide “corruption and murder”. Other issues they have focused on is the disarming of nuclear weapons, by releasing songs like Disarm or Die! and , in concern that more bombings, like the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, might occur.

They are currently the forerunning band for the Japanese record shop, distro, and record label, D.I.Y. Records, in which they have released most of their albums on. Originally located in Ohara, Japan, it was forced to close down for a brief period, for financial reasons. In 2004, however, it reopened, and was relocated to Tokyo, Japan. The slogan for the record company is “DIY or DIE”, which has been popularized within the crust punk scene.

So now we know that there's always been a tension between anarcho-punks and 'real' anarchists. And that people who spell it "punx" are obsessed with cheap beer and hate progressive "hippie" punk. Anyone learn anything that wasn't established by 1979 today?

Here's a newlink for the supposed self-proclaimed "anachists" with little or no intelligence whatsoever (recent comment made on this page by a female). I'm sure you'll read the story about the two teenagers plotting to spy and blow up members of the British National Party by downloading a manual called the Proper Anarchist's Cookbook to research making bombs. The manual contains instructions on how to create explosives such as pipe, nail and fertiliser bombs. Punk rock idiots with no common and enjoy this link...

Never mind, I checked the current status of the lawsuit, FUCK JELLO!!! GREEDY SON OF A BITCH!!! I hope he loses his appeal and loses his fortune paying off Lawyers, court fees and filings, bla bla, another punk rocker who needs the system. The system this asswipe sang against for so many years, begging at the court's mercy to grant his appeal.

Jurkokataklizma is right, do the research and you'll find that any anarchist who made worldly news and actually made or is making any contribution had nothing to do with punk rock. Infact punk rock was the furthest thing from their lifestyles, beliefs, and actions which would be considered punk rock but what has punk rock contributed? JACK SHIT!!! (with the exception of writing songs and getting meanlings groups together to act out plays), I speak from experience when I was young and dumb, attended so many "anarchist" gatherings and found it to be a joke. Just like Jello's attempts at running for office, no one took him seriously, he had good arguements but his punk rock past hurt him more than stealing the proceeds from shitty DK and fucking over the band members. You can't fight the system because you need the system, speaking of the system, does anyone know if the lawsuit was ever settled, see they needed the system to fight for them to restore them to a whole person.
