The name may be oxymoronic, but Basic Physics really is simple enough: moving melodies, heavy bass lines, and quality remixes equal a GREAT time. Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, the 23 year-old producer stormed on to the scene earning widespread recognition for his Bootleg and Mash-Up work. Combining Top-40 acapellas with massive instrumentals and blurring genre lines, his works have charted numerous times on Hype Machine’s Top-10, with four claiming the top spot. His Soundcloud has accrued over 1,000,000 total streams. Ever pressing the limits of his capabilities, Basic Physics embarked on a new endeavor working on creating original productions and remixes in the late summer of 2012. This new phase of his career will surely turn heads and open ears by combining his knowledge of reworking popular music with dance floor-filling melodies, heavy hitting bass lines, and genre defying mixes with a bit of his own flavor.

Having launched his career just over two years ago, Basic Physics has performed across the United States as well as in Mexico. He has shared bills with well respected artists including Hardwell, Big Gigantic, Steve Aoki, Chiddy Bang, Lotus, AarabMuzik, to name a few. His music has received support from numerous blogs including This Song Is Sick, Good Music All Day, Earmilk, Fresh New Tracks, Fist In The Air, and BroBible.
