I take back what I said before; softer Baroness is still damn good Baroness. I think the only thing that could make me not like a release of theirs would be lack of Baizley.

Really lacks the aggression the previous two offered. One of the very best things about Baroness is their rawness, so this release never really impacted me the way I wanted it to.

It's not a bad album in terms of the music, but in terms of a Baroness album it's lacking for sure. Still something I'd buy, though.

thank god they dropped the shouted vocals with this one. don't get me wrong, I listen to shouts all the time, but with Baroness it just doesn't work, it's boring, non-melodic, not even aggressive. When I listened to Blue Record when it came out i just thought what all the hype is about, because it kinda sounded like a Mastodon Rip-off and i didn't see what's special about it. But Yellow & Green fuckin blew me away on the first listen, so many killer tracks and so many nice more quiet passages. I cannot understand people who bitch about the production. It's crispier than a chicken wing from Los Pollos Hermanos. Hands down this is in the Top 5 of 2012. And I'm glad they moved more towards Rock and not Metal without dropping the stoner, suits them way better and still sounds unique !

i'm just not able to like it... i won't enjoy Baroness without the voice and riffs of progressive/sludge geniuses. what the fuck is autotune doing here!
