Barenaked Ladies (often abbreviated BNL) is a Canadian independent rock band currently composed of Jim Creeggan, Kevin Hearn, Ed Robertson, and Tyler Stewart, and formerly Andy Creeggan and Steven Page who left the band amicably in February 2009 to pursue solo projects. Despite Page’s leaving, the remaining members of the band assure fans that a new album will be recorded in 2009 and continue on as Barenaked Ladies. March 7th, 2009 saw their first show on stage as a foursome in Orlando Florida. Tyler Stewart’s drumset was proudly emblazoned with a “Fantastic 4” logo.

Indie origins
Barenaked Ladies began as the duo of Ed Robertson and Steven Page. The two had gone to school together since Robertson was in the fourth grade (Page was a grade ahead), but were not friends until they ran into each other at a Harvey’s restaurant following a Peter Gabriel concert.

Rock Spectacle is great. and i was a bit aggressive but i just dont like it when people find out about bands because of shows and things and then pretend like its their best song and act like they know all about the band. people do the same thing with the strokes and reptilia just because it was in guitar hero. for some it may introduce them to their other music but many of their new fans due to the show do not know their music.
