I received this album for my 12th birthday along with Baha Men's "Who Let The Dogs Out". One of these albums aged much better than the other.

Easily one of the top 5 albums of the 00s. Kicks Kid A's ass down the block and back!

First album of theirs checked out at the library, third album I own of theirs. Good thing the used copy at Hastings contains the hidden track that I had no clue about.

IMO I don't know about the writing aspect, but I almost always like Steven singing over Ed. There are a few exceptions on Born on a Pirate Ship though.

I just noticed Ed only has two songs on here. Surprising. Off The Hook was my favourite from this album.

This album really got me into the band some 8 years ago. It's not my BnL favourite anymore but it is a great album. Gotta love 'Baby Seat'.

LOVE this album, the ending is epic..with Fell Asleep At The Wheel and then Hidden Sun, it transports you to another universe

One time, I was in a record store and I like to hold/look at BNL albums, and I picked up a used copy of this one and ended up walking out with it. I was maybe 12 and didn't feel comfortable going back in and saying, Oh hey, I just accidentally stole this, sorry. so I just kept it. Hahaha.
