Banshee rocked the Tri-Label side stage on Friday night drawing an estimated 10,000 plus people over after Night Ranger wrapped up their set on the main stage. No other side stage band on either side drew the crowd or had the energy of Banshee. Mike Wilkerson of BlastZone Records came on stage during their performance and announced that would be releasing their latest album, 'Take 'em By Storm' along with 'Cry In The Night' again for worldwide retail distribution via BlastZone Entertainment in February 2009.
Tommy Lee Flood's performance was first class and he engaged the crowd constantly throughout the band's set. His stage presence kept the fans in awe as he reminded the hardcore fans who is important. The band's music has been digitally re-mastered to bring you the clearest sound quality. Banshee, a melodic power metal band from the Midwest, was formed by Tommy Lee Flood and Terry Dunn in the 80's. This songwriting team led the band to make its mark on the metal era. Flood's lyrics and the inspired music of Dunn on guitar joined with Chuck Hopkins on bass and Kent Burnham on drums and they created what is known as Banshee.
'Cry In The Night' was the band's self-released EP in 1986. …
