  • June 30 Mansfield, Massachusetts Poison, RATT, Vains of Jenna Show

    2 Jul 2007, 23:44 by MissCleo284

Last year, Poison and Cinderella came through Massachusetts on their 20th Anniversary Tour and really blew me away. This year Poison came through again, this time with a reassembled Ratt and Bam Margera label signed Vains of Jenna and I jumped at the chance to see them again. They did not disappoint.

I suppose the biggest surprise was Vains of Jenna who came on stage fired up and kept it going for the remainder of their six song set. This band would have totally fit in the scene and I wish there were more bands like this out there playing today. I had never heard these guys before so it was all new and I was not expecting much especially after last years Poison opener, Endeverafter left a real sour taste in my mouth. Check Vains of Jenna out however you can. Their cover of Refugee was the stand out as far as I'm concerned and if they can groove to play more songs like this they have a bright future.

RATT took the stage soon after and Stephen Pearcy while not being…
  • Bam Margera & Tony Hawk visit Winnipeg!

    29 Sep 2006, 07:43 by n1ce_hat

Boy I wish I had some warning to this. Tony Hawk is on his secret skate park tours thing, and it looks like he found Winnipeg. Pretty cool actually, because apparently they simply had a blast over here.

My theory: this is huge. New Tony Hawk game coming out.. maybe he's scouting out parks to model in the game? Maybe Winnipeg will be in the new Tony Hawk.. I love the sound of that!! Or, what about Bam Margera.. He has a record label, maybe he will hint to his bands (and his friends' bands) to come to Winnipeg.. Maybe it won't be long before I get to see some CKY/Clutch/Him without driving all the way down to the states.. Just a fun thought.

Check out the interviews on Global TV's website (but i'm not sure how long they'll be on the top there). Bam's interview is definitly worth a look-see.
