    Have to agree with folks below, I do love this song. One of my favourites. First heard it (and album) in a car journey late at night across dark countryside after a great evening out. Cheesy to say but I've often thought that if I was going to write a romantic, up lifting song with hope then it would be exactly this one. Nice one Damon.

    this song feels like the early, sunny morning after everything has changed. like the ending of a great movie and everything is over and about to be replaced with something else, everything you had up until now is gone and they will be nothing but bittersweet memories. so you have to find and discover new things. start fresh. you go outside, it's extremely early and empty of people, and the sun's rising like it was just reborn. you've finally come to terms with and accepted what's happened and you can only move forward from here, and you can finally see the beauty in everything, in every small goddamn little thing. that's what this song feels like to me. ahahhaahah. although, I haven't had any sleep yet and it's 05.21 in the morning so I'm just babbling my usual sleepy nonsense xDDD so you're right, it's definately filled with something bittersweet, though most importantly it's filled with new hope. I think.
