From my iTunes review: Against The Grain is one of those albums that has it all. While not as fast seemingly as either of the 2 previous albums, this is very related to BR today; great melodic tunes, strong messages, and just brilliant songwriting. It's one of those albums that you just remember every song. Not because it's stuck in your head, just because it leaves a mark. It's one of those albums that just leaves you stunned when it's over. In my opinion it is the best of The Big 3, easily in my Top 5 albums of all time, and maybe even #1. This album is perfect from beginning to end. If you really enjoy brilliant songwriting and great Punk roots, I don't think you can get any better than this one. Overall, it's pretty good.

My second best, closely behind No Control. It maybe has more classics than every other album i've heared (over 10) , but it also has 4-5 just ok (but still enjoyable) songs. The intro of "modern man", outro of "anesthesia" and "walk away" could be some of the best moments in punk music. And definately not overrated. BR overall is heavily underatted, just look at the more famous punk bands and compare them to any of them.

no, your copy is ok, that's how this song ends, properly abrupt. just listening to this album the first time in like 5 years, and it still blows me away.
