About this album

ESCM is the second artist album by electronica artist Brian Transeau, also known as BT. It was released in 1997. Transeau played bass, guitar, and drums on the album, provided vocals (very stuttered), and acted as producer along with Steven Barkan and fellow electronica artist and friend Paul van Dyk.

I think this is his best album, though I don't know if it's my favorite yet.

I like every single track. Could anyone recommend me a trance record just as good as this? I know this is not just trance I hear some house in it too but.. I need trance!

My first official techno CD in my collection, I first heard "Blue Skies" (ft Tori Amos) on the radio (of all places) and bought this disk, after hearing "Flaming June" on the Digital Empire II compilation (put out by Cold Front Records). Personally, I'm done with trance, but BTs work is so complex that its hard to dislike his works.

Very playable album. Is the final (mystery) track a Flaming June reprise?
