29. Mai. 2007, 12:37 von Xyrcon…that I am what I am. At the beginning there was my dad's CDs: Pink Floyd, ELO, Pink Floyd, Punk Floyd, Deep Purple, Marillion, Yes… but Pink Floyd’s „Wish You Were Here” was first.
Further? Let me think… Meredith Monk. I remember that time I heard „Turtle dreams”. And Bush, Pirtishead, Lacuna Coil, Theatre of Tragedy, Led Zeppelin.
Later — 2nd grade: Ewa Braun, Świetliki, Samael, Cradle of Filth, The Cure, The Smashing Pumpkins, Dead Can Dance. I guess I was listening to anything I could find at friends’ rooms. I was also given tones of music, which I learned to listen much later. Thus was Nick Cave, P. J. Harvey and Björk.
3rd grade: Manowar, HammerFall, Blind Guardian. And my self-reliant explortions, thanks to Napster and Audiogalaxy. It's so much easier now.
4th grade was a great comeback of Marillion and Pink Floyd, connected with discovering Iron Maiden and Metallica. Also Dire Straits, Kiss, and those goddamn Irishmen.
