Biography

B-THONG came in 1990, from Gothenburg,Sweden, when the band was originally tiled CONCRETE STUFF. B-THONG recorded and released the ‘Skinned’ debut album in 1994.After second album ‘Damage’ frontman Tony Jelencovich quit B-THONG in November 1995 to form TRANSPORT LEAGUE (releasing the ‘Stallion Showcase’ album in early 1996).They are influenced by Warlock,Motorpsycho,Kyuss.

Don't care too much for the early more "Groove Metal" like Pantera, I however am a huge fan of the "From Strength to Strength" album, fucking great!!! Love that voice too...

These guys are totally amazing, but got terrible reviews and no promo. Damage is a stunning album. It's a short way off being as great as Pantera's Vulgar Display in my humble opinion. Methinks maybe the name 'B>Thong' may have been detrimental :S
