One of my favourite bands (that of course took much inspiration from one of my favorites ever : Amebix). Crushing. Enthralling. Powerful. Ipnotic. Dirty. Poetic. Surely a great band.

Jesus, don't you think calling a band "stenchcore" is fucking ridiculous? I mean really. I get genres, and I can even get crossing genres (e.g Blackened Thrash), but if I honestly decided to call a band stenchcore i'd put a nice cold 12 gauge in my mouth and pull the trigger as fast as I could because I'd realize I was a huge FUCKTARD. But what you fucktards call stenchcore is good, though. Keep it up.

I've always been under the impression that crust sort of straddled the border between punk and metal, though honestly a fair amount of hardcore, and any heavier punk n general could be considered metal. it seems to me that the difference is more idealogical than musical. Metal and punk have borrowed from each other, been influenced by each other, since the beginning, and such crossover is only becoming more prevalent as time goes on. whatever genre this is, its fucking good music, and that is what counts.

Stenchcore is a name for early crust named after deviated instinct's demo "terminal filth stenchcore". the name probably came because at that time the members of DI were bathing rarely :)
