The long and the short of it is that The Slow Wire was born out of necessity. The singer/multi instrumentalist/producer David Urbano was a well known Jersey scenester, photographer, and founding member of the late indie heroes Aviso'Hara, played guitar in the agit-art band Suran Song in Stag which also featured his friend Claude Coleman Jr from Ween/Skunk on drums
