this album is way too fucking good. he definitely succeeds with trying to give the album a really swampy, low feeling. totally a grower as well

well, I found Down There to be a pretty solid release, nothing exciting or really outstanding about it, but the songs(with just a few exceptions) had somewhat of a depth and genuine emotion to them, also the production is quite pleasing. not to mention the great atmosphere. Definitely prefer it to Panda's last album.

This is terribly underrated. In the scheme of all the AnCo release + Solo Members releases I'd put this pretty high up there. 1. Person Pitch 2. Sung Tongs. 3. Feels 4. Spirit Theyre Gone... 5. Down There, or something like that. This album is beautifully textured. I would say its extremely watery, sounds like the whole thing is underwater and paints a terrific picture of a swamp, or some shit like that, or the film hatchet. I don't know. I love it.
