Biography

Aurora Aeterna started in March 2010. as a simple ambient project made by Aleksandar Novalis.

Music of Aurora Aeterna is homemade and result of Aleksandar’s need for creating pieces of music that express his emotions and ideas, exploring the absolute freedom in composing and without any expectations for any kind of commercial success.

By October 2012. Aurora Aeterna published 4 releases online. Although general sound of every release is different, varying from slow and warm soundscape to dark ambient, drone and experimental sound on later releases, main idea of Aurora Aeterna’s music - building up a formless wall of sound and communication with the listener on a much deeper level - still remains. All releases are available for free download.

Aleksandar continuously works on creating new releases in his free time. Besides Aurora Aeterna, there are plans for releasing albums under the name ‘’Aleksandar Novalis’‘. This albums will be less ambient and oriented more towards the other genres he is interested in.
