Biography

Audiodaycare stands for Dynamic Energetic Modern Rock, they also refer themselves as being indie post-grunge. The Dutch four piece started in 2009, three of them being roommates in a small town called Delft, in the Netherlands. The group consist of former members of Escape Everyday and Adam Hoek. 2010 marked the release of their first demo, called #1.
In 2011 they appeared in the final of the ‘Peter Tetteroo Bokaal’ at Westerpop and they did a small tour through France.

In 2012 drummer Rijk van Wel quit the band and was replaced by Timon Dias (formerly ‘Feed the Wire’). Their debut EP was released in the summer and contains 6 new tracks. They played on festivals like Plein Open and Aangeschoten Wild.
In 2013 the band announced plans for a new record to be released early 2014. During the summer they went for a second time on tour through France and next to that played on festivals like SpieringFestival and Zeeheldenfestival.

Their live performances are energetic and contain a variety of songs going from punkrock to alternative rock. Audiodaycares music is mainly influenced by bands like Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Reuben, Finger Eleven and 30 Seconds to Mars.

The bands’ philosophy is to make music without spasmodically trying to be experimental or innovative.
