Biography

Asleep in the Sea was a band that played from 2004 to 2007. They had two EPs and one unreleased LP that was recorded in Tuscon, AZ with Jim Waters (Sonic Youth, R.L. Burnside, Calexico, etc.)

Their sound was frequently compared to The Unicorns, Weezer, Grandaddy, and The Beach Boys. Most of their songs are about death and dying.

They disbanded citing life changes. They toured several times and have played from New York to Los Angeles.
