Biography

There are three artistic proposals sharing this name.

The first one is Massachusetts based sound artist Asher Thal-Nir, who has been making and releasing records since late 2005. He has appeared on labels such as 12k, Leeraum, Conv and Laboratoire Moderne.

The second, is a ‘california-based modern rock band’, as they put it in their website.

Finally, Asher is also the moniker of a bassline rap artist from Newport in the UK.

    i put Directions on the other day, walked around the house doing things, after 30 minutes i thought to myself, "i guess i forgot to put play", but the album was already well underway. point is: album is ridiculously and excessively minimal

    nice to meet you asher; i read intervals' booklet, st sugustine's theory was amplified by bergson's spatialisation of time, not only interiorization, it's really nice, if you are interested you can read huxley's -doors of perception/heaven and hell-, he's a genious and it is a masterpiece about perception under mescaline effects which delete time and space; thank you for your works
