Biography
From the Bay Area of San Francisco, CA, Ash Reiter (pronounced like “right-er”) describes her vocals as “honey and whiskey”—an apt description by most accounts. Popdose.com calls them “lightly electrified folk with an added oomph.” She has been compared to Jolie Holland, among other female folk artists, but with a certain excitable dance quality you don’t find as often in indie-folk.
