Arundhati Roy is an eloquent Indian author who often speaks publicly against governmental tyranny. She is the author of the 1997 Booker Prize winning novel "The God of Small Things" and writes in prominent national and international magazines and newspapers about political tyranny and the dangers to democracy in the 21st century.
