Although we have taken a long time to create an Orquesta Revé section, it has not been because we don't consider them to play Timba, but rather because this orchestra has such a long and important role in the history of contemporary Cuban dance music that creating a section that will do them justice is a daunting task.

Longino Rey "Pachito" Alonso Castillo is the son of the great Cuban singer and composer Pacho Alonso. Pachito began his musical studies as a pianist early and formed his first band when he was 11. César "Pupy" Pedroso (born César de las Mercedes Pedroso Fernández in Havana on 24 September 1946) is a Cuban pianist who became famous with Orquesta Revé and then as a founding member of Los Van Van. For many years, Pedroso wrote some of Van Van's most important songs such as "Call Calla", "Tranquilo, Mota", "Seis Semanas", "El buenagente" and many others.
Candido Fabre began singing in the Charanga orchestra "La Original de Manzanillo", and is known as a supremely gifted and talented improviser or "sonero" (improviser), able to create a son from any given situation or expression.
