Sometime around the winter of 2008, on a dark stormy night in the gray city of Milan, Army of the Universe are born. From the mind and synthesizers of Techno/Trance producer Albert Vorne (aka Trebla) and from the powerful voice of Lord K (Lead singer of Kult of the Skull God). The band today finalised by the distorted, weeping and power-driven guitars of Davil AOU’s takes inspiration from the experiments of the 80's electro-rock, fuelled with the futuristic re-interpratations of rocking 6 strings on top of twisted electronic landscapes and the collisons of sound of the end of the millennia. The sound lays upon anaolg synths in a fusion with blade-like guitars, speeding around echoes of 80's metal, flirting with backgrounds of British school electronica, new wave and techno beats. AOU joined our galaxyon a mission to explore the frontiers of post-rock and post-electronica Cutting edge music born for the dance floor melts with epic power rock and blinks an eye to the warm feeling of live interpretations, a postmodern experience that completes the fusion of the two worlds - Mother Ignorance - LP - On May 2010 AOU termitaes the mixing of their debut album, Mother Ignorance. WIth them in the studio Chris Vrenna, former dummer of Nine Inche Nails (Grammy Winner), actually Keyboards and Electronics for Marilyn Manson and founder of electro Band Tweaker. Multi-Gold Record producer and Engineer with ,Rasmus, Megadeth, Slipknot, Metallica to name a few. Chris instantly loved the project and declared "it was a long time I had not heard anything so new and groundbreaking ". Mother Ignorance is the Mastered at Chart Maker studios in Helsinki (Bjork, Rammstein). Trebla then takes Resin and LoveDead to be given to the wise hands of friends and Producers Extraordinaire Sir Bob Reefo aka Bobermann (Bloody Beetroots), T. Raumschmiere and Evil Nine. The out come is the highest level of electronic dance research into sound. The remixes will anticipate the album in an EP, a limited edition release on vinyl and a consequent distribution on the digital platforms.
