Born in Mexico City on 1983, his interest by the electronic music begins in 1998. Thanks to the public introduction of the Internet, and under influences of his idol Pete Tong, as well as of the maximum exponents of the house, progressive, and trance scenes at the time, like Carl Cox,Paul Van Dyk, Oakenfold, Sasha & Digweed, Judge Jules, Nick Warren, Erick Morillo, among others…

It was the crisis of 2003 in the scene, when Pete Tong along with the English magazine MixMagin search of new talents, caught the attention of James making him move to Chelsea in June 2004 to try “infiltrate” in the media.

It was not but until April 2005, after knowing Pete Tong in person, when dJMS buys its CDJS and Turntables, beginning to mix for the very first time and recording demos (which circulate in CDs around Europe and Mexico as well as over the Internet).

And it is suddenly thanks to one of these promos, that in May 2005 JMS accepts the proposal to mix at Aquarium, a club in Old Street London which has 2 rooms, pool and jacuzzi, to give its first public set ever, in the main room, under the 32 heat degrees of the Summer of June. and successfully obtaining the weekly Thursday residence.

Later on in December after several events and afterparties along, he obtains the residence at the Wednesdays most famous event in all London, which takes place at the Yacht anchored in Victoria Embankment near the Big Ben and London Eye.
