Arienette is the name used by Katie Ainge for her musical endeavors. Katie is an 18 year old American singer-songwriter, pianist, keyboardist, bassist, and guitarist originating from Utah.
After two independent full band releases Katie began work on an Acoustic solo CD. The self titled “Arienette” full length CD was released December 15th 2009. it is available on Amazon, iTunes and at your Wasatch Front GrayWhale stores.
Katie’s musical aptitude became apparent as a child when she began to play melodies she heard on music toys. Taking piano lessons at the age 4 she went through levels in weeks instead of months. She soon moved on to other instruments playing the Clarinet and Oboe in the public school’s orchestra and bass guitar in the school’s Jazz band and pit orchestra.
She began performing outside of school at local venues when she was 14. Both as a soloists and as part of several local bands ranging from Heavy Metal, Folk Rock to Pop. By the age of 17 she has had three independent EP/CD releases. She is currently touring to promote the “Arienette” CD.
