He is considered among the best of contemporary Kurdish singers and musicians. He recorded 230 songs in Kurdish, 150 in Arabic, 10 in Syriac, 8 in Greek and 7 in Zazaki.
On the evening of 08/06/2009 the artist’s heart stopped beating Aram Dikran in one of the hospitals in the Greek capital Athens. Tigran wanted to be buried in Diyarbakir, the largest city in southeastern Turkey. However, permission was refused and he was buried in Brussels.
