Cotton Museum was first, and it was everything I thought it would be. Chris was super sweet and signed a sticker for me, and revealed his main influences - boredom and circus freaks.
I think Tinsel Teeth was next. Stephanie, their amazing front-women put on a "g-rated show compared to what they usually do," which is sort of disappointing. I'm not usually a fan of female fronted bands unless the leading lady is bad-ass as fuck, and Stephanie is as bad-ass as they come. Their set was super amazing, and full of energy with lot of suggestive microphone motions going on.
Doomsday Student was next, which is comprised of "three-quarters of Arab on Radar". Another high energy set with sexual innuendo, but with a guitar instead (sidenote: that guitarist had the softest hair ever). I managed to grab one of the drumsticks they threw, and I think it's still chillin' in my car.
