#1. Röyksopp - Junior (300)
The highly anticipated news from Röyksopp did impressed me a lot last spring. Though "Junior" received mixed critical remarks for its pop lyrics and nearly disco intentions it was definitely up-to-date in terms of sound and videos. Just dance, have fun, isn't it what you want now?
#2. St. Vincent - Actor (219)
Annie Clark is the cutiest girl's name ever. Her first album "Marry Me" could the best music for girls made by a girl... The 2nd album "Actor" (2009) gained a lot of credibility due to the brillant and ironic "Laughing With A Mouth Of Blood" and "The Bed", "Actor Out Of Work" , putting it that high IMO.
#3. Kate Havnevik - Melankton (208)
Emotional, light, and electronic... this is Melankton. I should say one song surprised me a lot - "New Day" is totally in course of Telefon Tel Aviv and Apparat collaborations. How can this be at all?
#4. Late Night Alumni - Of Birds, Bees, Butterflies, Etc. (205)
Just as good as "Empty Streets" and even better, a perfect music to relax to in the evening. Whoever makes Kaskade to continue on this side project thank you!
#5. ATB - Future Memories (199)
Another great release of last spring, there's no point to say anything else about ATB, he's always like that:)
#6. Imogen Heap - Ellipse (174)
Unlike the critically acclaimed "Speak For Yourself" the new album doesn't lay the enormous strain on listeners. Should that mean Immi's now happier than in 2005? I wish she is. There's not many musicians like her, able to express deep and delicate traits, sincere impressions and feelings without missing any little part of them. (fan, fan, fan, see you in Cologne in 2010!)
#7. Kylie Minogue - Boombox (154)
I told you, I just can't get Kylie out of my head:) The new, 11th, album is coming in 2010!
#8. Moderat - Moderat (Promo CD) (144)
The best electronic collaboration of the year, should sound even better live - Sascha Ring can't fake it!
#9. Telefon Tel Aviv - Immolate Yourself (122)
A very mysterious but light album, despite of all the sad accidents it comes from.
#10. Tori Amos - Abnormally Attracted To Sin (103)
This was not very clever of me not to listen to Tory Amos before, I need to fix it in 2010:)
