Biography
Aphrodelics , are Vienna´s Top Dogs when it comes to Rap Music and Rmx production for the Viennese Electro scene.
The collective of talents was founded in 1995 and released their first 12 inch “On the Rise” in 1996.
This was the start for the 4 members: Shagon aka Shake, Mic aka Schicki Micki aka AKA, Mr. Rodney Hunter and Shadee!!!
In 1998, after a crazy A&R convinced his boss to sign this crazy ass crew … , Aphrodelics spread their wings all over Europe and released the headbanger anthem ” Rolling on Chrome” , including the smash RMX of long time companions & music collegues Kruder & Dorfmeister, plus another remix for “Nothing to lose” by UK`s legendary Stereos MC`s vocalist and producer, Rob!
Aphrodelics since then have released two albums, one EP, several singles + videos on a major basis and are now working on their 3rd LP in Vienna.
Shagon, in the meanwhile has released the Ragga - Electro banger BLAZE & COOK , with Stereotyp and Al Haka , on Klein Records.
Mic appeared on the Rodney Hunter debut LP “The Hunterfiles” on the song called “There`s a reason” and has also started a solo project along side DJ Paul Synapzz , known as AUDIOFEST.They got Heads anticipating their first official release especially after bieng on a central european tour with US Westcoast Legends “Dilated Peoples, that took them to the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Germany and Belgium.
Shadee kept it on the low focusing on the groups business aspects.
