1) Apatheia is a neofolk project from Sweden, utilizing strummed guitars, trumpet, flutes and vocals in an attempt to create lush, atmospheric compositions. It is the solo project of Linus Andersson (also of Coph Nia and ‘a bunch of punk bands’).
The first proper album “Lifethesis” came out in early 2003 after two years of writing, released by the Italian label Stridulum Recordings, and re-released by Cold Meat Industry in 2009. It has so far been very well received in various European publications.
A lot of new material has been finished, and will hopefully result in a 10” or full-length CD, alt. LP sometime late 2004. Other than that, Apatheia will be featured on the new Cold Meat Industry sampler “Flowers Made Of Snow” released in October.
