Antonio de Cabezón (1510–1566) was a Spanish composer and organist of the Renaissance.

Blind from early childhood, he is best known for his Tientos: short, intense, and polyphonic liturgical works for organ. Many of his compositions have survived and are still readily accessible today, in sheet music and recorded form. He produced some of the earliest extant music for solo organ.

He died on 26th March 1566.

Have put a picture in of Cabezón. Very hopefully it also does show him, at least two sites claimed that so I trusted them in this case. If me and these sites are wrong, please message me, so I can delete the picture I have uploaded. I have also reported Frescobaldis portrait, so it should be away soon.
