Also i can understand why they chose to call them selves a metal band. Seems to me they didn't wan't to fit within the strict definitions of what was considered punk in those days and i can imagine many people were complaining that they were too metal and not real punk and so on.
Also bands do these kind of things sometimes. It's pretty common.
For example wanting to distance them selves from the scene they came from, new influences etc.
Changed back to 1.5 . Because text didn't flow nicely anymore. But antisect -83 was definately more anarcho-punk than any metal. I think it was later on they stated that they were a metal band and i can understand the reasons for them doing so ... also crust tag is not too off. Concidering Ripper Crust with Hellbastard came out one year after out from the void. Call it proto-crust then! Same like some people call celtic frost and venom etc. black metal
