There are two artists with the name Another Dead Hero. The first is a progressive rock outfit from Braintree, Essex, but have now disbanded in early 2012. The second Another Dead Hero is a grunge/rock band, hailing from the grim north-west of England, which formed in 2003 and have stormed almost 100 venues to date. In 2004 the band released their debut album, ‘Locked Up’, which was a success in their local area and cemented their reputation as a contender to the local scene. In 2006 the band released their second album, ‘Call Me What You Like’, and their success grew furthermore with the world wide release in both CD and MP3 format.

In 2009 the band released their third album, ‘Generation Zero’, which was received world wide as their best album to date. Produced by Addict Productions, this album was a step up in all aspects and was distinctively darker and more grungy than any of ADH’s previous works.

Another Dead Hero will not stop making music. They will not stop playing music. If they have not played in a venue near you yet, they soon will. With new material in the works sounding rawer and heavier than ever, the next phase in ADH’s assault on the music scene will soon be initiated with a new album and the energetic live show you come to expect hitting venues in the near future. A new album slated for a 2012 release is currently in the works, 3 tracks from the album have been released in demo form and are a testament to the raw Nu Metal edge the band has been progressing towards during their evolution.

UPDATE: The band has confirmed the new 2012 album will be called ‘Dystopia’.

After a few initial line-up changes the band became who it is today:

Josh Baldwin – Vocals
Daniel Crawshaw – Guitar
Dwayne Martindale - Guitar
Garry Connor – Drums
Craig Robertson – Bass.
