Anneke van Giersbergen (born March 8, 1973) was the singer in the Dutch band The Gathering from 1995 to 2007 when she announced her departure, summer 2007. She has since formed Agua De Annique with whom she released new songs in the fall of 2007. She has also worked with Devin Townsend Project, Danny Cavanagh & Anathema, Lawn, The Farmer Boys , Ayreon, Napalm Death, Globus, Moonspell, Giant Squid, Novembers Doom, Wetton/Downes, Maiden uniteD and she has also done a live guest performance for Within Temptation.

I like "Everything Is Changing". Very likable poprock album, much better than "In Your Room". Nice front cover and promo photos :) Feel Alive, I Wake Up, Circles, My Boy, Slow Me Down and Too Late are great songs. I'm glad for Anneke's return to more rock songs. For me best record since "Air". 8/10

Everything Is Changing is a nice album. Some of the songs are really wonderful, some are simple, but addicting and catchy. The whole vibe of the album isn't as different as this on In Your Room (an album which I liked really much for some reason) Still, I think she wastes her voice a bit singing songs like Feel Alive or You Want To Be Free. I like these tracks, but I think I like them only because it's Annie. If another person had sung them, I wouldn't have even listened to them again probably... I would like to hear an album more like 1000 Miles Away From You or Circles. Still the greatest thing she's created after leaving TG is Air, without a doubt.
