Having been a noticeable figure on Trondheim’s underground scene for some years, took Anne Lene last bring instruments and bands to Oslo. They finally went into the studio and recorded the winter debut album, bird cherry grove. These are strong, visual songs, which takes you back in time and slightly to the side. At a carnival itonesatt of lire boxes, kassetspillere, rattling drums, sigøynerkor, dramatic violins, playful woodwinds and fragile melodies. During this nostalgic surface liver compound Temara and daring harmonies, which may be the most innrøkte jazz pianist to raise an eyebrow.
