Born in Dublin, Ireland, Anne began her musical training at the tender age of four, taking Piano, Vocal, Ballet and Speech & Drama classes. Before leaving school, Anne already had secured a four-year scholarship with the RTE Chamber Choir, studying under the direction of Colin Mawby. Whilst recording weekly for Radio, Anne studied Drama and Singing with Dr. Veronica Dunne and Ms. Jenny Reddin at the College of Music and later continued her training at the Leinster School of Music.

She performed extensively as Soloist with many Choral societies, including Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin, Musica Sacra, Palestrina Boys Choir, Tallis Chamber Choir and The Boston College Chorale, Boston University.Whilst performing as guest soloist with the Italian Institute Choral Society in Italy in 1989, she attended the Academica Chigiana in Siena, taking masterclasses with the renowned Daniel Ferro.

In 1991 she performed the Soprano solo in Mozart’s Coronation Mass, with The RTE Concert Orchestra and The Palestrina Choir, a ceremony that was broadcast live throughout Europe. In September 1992, Anne made her solo debut in the National Concert Hall in Dublin, with the RTE Concert Orchestra, performing in Theatre Nights.
She has given numerous solo Recitals in Dublin, including the DIC Library 1988, College of Music 1989, The University Church 1992, The Department of Foreign Affairs 1992, Dublin Grand Opera Society 1993, The Lord Mayor’s Residence, Dublin 1995.
