Biography
There are currently, at least, two artists known as Angel City:
1) A UK-based Zentveld & Oomen dance music project, fronted by female singer Lara McAllen. The majority of their songs are dance covers or remakes. Their hit “Do You Know (I Go Crazy)” samples the instrumental track “Children” by Robert Miles - as well as the lyrics from “Do You Know” by Michelle Gayle - and their hit “Touch Me” samples the lyrics from Cathy Dennis’s UK #6 / US #2 hit - Touch Me (All Night Long).
Singer McAllen left the group in 2005 to pursue a solo career. However, she re-joined Angel City in late 2006 & features in the band’s 2007 single “24/7” which is awaiting release.

2) An alternate name of Australia’s The Angels, who’ve influenced Great White, Mötley Crüe, Guns N’ Roses, Melvins, Leanne Kingwell, Grinspoon, L.A. Guns, Dust Rhinos, Andy Scott & Sweet.
Doc Neeson and the Brewster brothers John and Rick formed The Angels after a barmaid name Angel at Adelaide in South Australia in 1974. They recorded a demo of “Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again” in 1974.
In 1975, the band was offered a recording deal with the Alberts label and became The Angels. As this point the band was a four-piece with Neeson on bass guitar, Charlie King (Peter Christopolous) on drums, Rick Brewster on lead guitars and John Brewster on lead vocals and rhythm guitar. Albert issued “Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again” on Rocka album.
