Andy Wandrian’s real name is Andrea Turconi, he’s an Italian student in Aerospace Enginnering, and a Linux enthusiast.
He started playing piano at the age of 9 and learned guitar himself when he was 13… after that he likes to play everything is “playable” around him!
His playing skills can be oredred like this: piano, guitar, tin whistle, harmonica, percussions, accordion and violin.
Andy Wandrian’s most important influences are from Rock (AC-DC, Aerosmith, Queen…), Blues, Irish Folk, Progressive (PFM, Dream Theater, Pain of Salvation) and the best Italian songwriters (De Andrè, Guccini, De Gregori…), last but not least are modern piano-solo artists like Patrick Moraz and Giovanni Allevi.
Andy Wandrian released some homemade demos for his friends, he owns already an account on iComposition to promote his music on the web.
As an opensource and free software supporter all his works are released under the “Share Music Creative Commons License” that allows everyone to listen, copy, play the songs while to remix, sell and use for commercial purpose is forbidden.
