Born in Seattle, Washington on February 1st, 1985, Andy Metz was recognized as a musical genius early in life. His uncanny ability to put notes together to create “songs” caught the attention of record label executives across the globe. But not until high school did it quickly become apparent that Andy Metz was also a mad ill rapper. Known to many by his alter ego “Mix Master”, Andy’s music career soon took flight with the release of his first album in the fall of 2001: The New Album. Not wasting time on touring, Andy was able to put out five more albums in the next twenty months (including the highly acclaimed Fresh for ‘03), selling over 15 copies of each album in the Madison Park neighborhood of Seattle alone. The Mix Master was not satisfied however. He next tackled the Great Book Songs, and by tackled, I of course mean he kicked the crap out of them; releasing three collections of the musical masterpieces during 2003 and 2004. The last few years have seen an awesome amount of awesome albums from The Mix Master, including three albums with P. Riddy (Rhyme and Recreation), two albums with Concept (formerly known as Ice Ben), two albums with Smoke Ninja (Whale Shark), and two solo albums. The music world is slowly turning Metz. The question remains: can this lyrical genius be stopped? No, he can’t. (From his website Username: akiometa.
