ANDY LOVEGROVE
JUST A MAN
After a lifetime of fruitful musical collaborations, Mr Andy Lovegrove has side stepped the throng to bring you his first solo album ‘Just a Man’, on newly formed UK
independent label Tone Green Recordings.
Andy is the front man for Kiwi band Breaks Co-op alongside Radio One’s Zane Lowe and larger-than-life rapper and MC Hamish Clark. Andy was responsible

for writing the melody and lyrics for their much loved summer classic, ‘The Otherside’ which spent 3 weeks atop the NZ Airplay Charts, was the most
played song on NZ radio in 2005 and won Single of the Year at that years NZ Music Awards.
Within just a matter of months of the album ‘The Sound Inside’ being released, Andy was on the plane to tour the depth and breadth of New
Zealand with Breaks Co-op as the album catapulted to Double Platinum success and they sold out shows all across the country.
Whilst in NZ Andy became an intensely active figure in the local music scene and with many of its incredible artists. He formed a
close friendship with the great Dave Dobbyn, and was honoured to have Dave come and impart his magical touch on the track
‘Everything’s Gonna Be Alright’ alongside Kirsten Morrell of Goldenhorse who also features on the first single, ‘Innes Place’.
Andy found a second home in New Zealand, and was both warmed and inspired by the passion and pride held in the
music and culture. It will be a place to which he will always return, where he dreams of one day settling, and its
