Th King Earl Boogie Band were a short-lived offshoot of British skiffle revival group Mungo Jerry. The band was formed in 1972 by multi-instrumentalist (acoustic guitar, banjo, harmonica, kazoo) and occasional lead singer Paul King and keyboard player Colin Earl after leaving the group due to creative differences with Mungo's bandleader Ray Dorset.
