Andrea Wasse is a singer/songwriter from London, Ontario. Her previous band The Weekend went on hiatus in 2005 after releasing their album Beatbox My Heartbeat earlier that year.
She’s currently living in Los Angeles, and after performing under the name MacLeod for a while, she has now decided to “hang up my SG for a little bit, and concentrate on my, uh, ‘softer’ side”, according to a myspace bulletin she sent out. For now, she’ll be performing/recording as Andrea Wasse. An EP entitled “Barflies and Lullabies” will come out some time soon. Some of her new songs can be found on myspace.
